Mr. Rasika Fernando established the National Center of Agriculture Research and Education (NCARE) in the year 2019. He is currently the Managing Director / CEO of the NCARE Group and is also involved in conducting lectures for a variety of subjects for Agri Business Management and Technical Programs. Educated at the prestigious St. Thomas College, Matale Fernando obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Technology and Management and also holds a Postgraduate Degree in Development Communication and Extension from the University of Peradeniya.
Mr. Fernando has been involved in National Agricultural Development programs in Sri Lanka over the years.

Mr. Tharanga Dhanasekara - Director / COO- Development
Mr. Tharanga Dhanasekara is an experienced Agriculturist who has worked in several organizations in development as well as management capacities. He is currently the Director / COO of the National Center for Agriculture Research and Education (NCARE). Having started his career in the development field, specializing in Agricultural Management and Bio Systems Management, he has specialized in Forestry Management and Agri Business development. The practical expertise gained through many years of Agricultural Education experience combined with his own academic development has made him a senior lecturer at NCARE. Mr. Dhanasekara obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Technology and Management and also holds a Postgraduate Degree in Natural Resource Management from the University of Peradeniya.
